1939 dodge coupe
rare car here,when did you last see one?this one was a started rod project from sometime in the 80's.normally thats a
bad thing because most hotrods back then were some real butcher jobs.not he case on this car.it has a ford 9 inch with
disc brakes and some nice custom ladder bars.front suspension is mustang II put in quite nicely.keep in mind everything
done on this car was performed long before aftermarket parts or custom mustang II setups were available,so this is a
true mustang front suspension.engine is a smallblock ford,most likely a 302.i havent run the numbers yet.apparantly the
engine was rebuilt but mice got in there and built a nest so it will have to be gone thru again.heads were also
redone.this has an offenhauser intake and finned aluminum valve covers and oilpan.floor was cutout and never
replaced.as you can see a few grille bars are missing.hood ornament is there.the hood side badges are also
inclluded.this comes with the full set of glass,a couple are cracked but they are all there for patterns.this also comes with
brand new 5 lug rotors and new bearing set.as an added bonus this also has a birth certificate.in normal fashion this
has rust in the panel below the trucklid,doglegs and door bottoms.it also has rust along the trunk lip edge and inner
trunk structure.please note the wheels and tires will not go with the car but it will be on rolling rubber when you come to
pick it up.make no mistake about it,the car needs plenty of work and rust repair,but the payoff will be big.this has an
awesome look and a great stance.well worth the time and effort required to finish it off.has title.
