here is a very solid old cabover.aside from a few minor dings its extremely straight, there are a only a few  minor spots
of actual rust thru, those being on the front fender seams as usual and less than dime size  spots on the doors.the truck
has a good running 49 mercury engine, and the previous owners were still using it periodicaly on the farm.unfortunately
this fall while it was idling warming up,they figure the float stuck on the carb and started spilling gas on the engine, and
caught fire.so unfortunately the interior and wires burned, and the glass was ruined.fortunately it was put out quickly
and did not take the whole truck, and remarkably did not warp the sheetmetal.they were sick about it after that and
decided altho it had been in the family a very long time and was almost considered a family heirloom, they couldnt bear
to see it anymore and had to sell it.so as soon as i got it i cleaned it all out,and covered the body with a thick coat of
paint to try to protect the metal.it wasnt done nice and neat and was pretty much slopped on in a hurry.the cab will
need to be blasted to properly restore it.sadly i dont have time to do it,so i hope someone soon will buy it and bring it
back to life.it truly will be a very easy restoration.i have everything for it,i just removed the seats, gas tank and floor
panel for cleaning.i should mention this has a working hoist under the grainbox.it also has the old cab card, which is
what was used prior to paper titles.
